16 weeks

Baby G's first kick

The doctor asked at my 16 week apt. Have I felt any flutters or gas like feelings. Has the baby kicked? I said no.. Today I was readig to my students and I suddenly stopped. I felt a small gas like flutter three times on my right side. This is the side we heard the baby G's heart rate. I assume it was the baby kicking. It was a wonderful feeling. I can't wait until he or she starts "really" kicking...

16 weeks

Everything is moving smoothly. :) I went to my 4 months (16 week) Dr. apt today. Baby G's heart rate was 160. The doctor said everthing looks perfect! I have gained 10 pounds. When I stepped on the scale it said 140. I started to laugh and said, " looks like I have gained some weight". lol.. Baby G's worth it!Of course I am still working out and staying healhy. At my next apt (20 weeks) we will find out the sex. Justin has not been to interested in the doctors appointments. His first one will be at 20 weeks. I keep telling him, when you hear the baby's heartbeat and see the baby you will be in aww.. It is going to be very interesting and exciting to see the baby. I have not see it since 8 weeks on ultrasound. I am feeling good.No sickness.. I had a "crazy" moment the other day. I was cooking and it did not turn out good so I lost it. I felt like a crazy woman. Thank you hormones. I know Justin thought I was crazy. lol.. Blitz , the dog did too..

I bought maternity jeans. They are the most comfortable jeans I have owned! I think I might continue to wear those after the pregnancy.. lol My baby bump is about the same. So I will wait to post more pictures.

I can't wait to find out the sex. We have the names picked out..

What is happening at 13 Weeks.....

Wow ..I am entering my second trimester. The stress level is starting to decrease. I think I am going to be one of those moms that worry until my baby is in my arms.I am starting to get more excited day by day. All my pants are getting tight around my waist. I bought one pair of maternity pants at Ross. That was an interesting but exciting experience. That was the first time I have ever tried on maternity clothes. I am hoping I gain a butt during my pregnancy to fill out the pants in the back side. lol... I started to look at Motherhoods Clothing website. They have some cute clothes. I wish I knew someone that is my size and height. It would be great to borrow someones clothes.

You are starting to make my belly pop out now. It is so beautiful! I am so ready to feel you move in my belly. You are making mommies face break out like crazy but you are worth it! We are going to find out if you are a boy or girl right before dad's birthday. This will be the best birthday present ever. I know what dad wants but he said he will love you boy or girl. We can't wait! I have started telling family and friends. I told your greatgrandparents and they were so excited. I am so blessed that you will get to meet your three greatgrandmothers and greatgrandfather. You have a great greatgrandfather. Not many babies get to experience that. They mean so much to mom and dad. You are due one week before granddad bill's birthday. You might even suprise him on his birthday. We will see. Not sure if mom wants to hold off an extra week at the point.. :)

I have had bronchitas for one week now. Now I have a bad cold on top of that. Thankdgoodness I do not have morningsickness too.

There are a lot of fires in the area. Due to a hurricane it has been very windy. It rained a little on Saturday night. The wind is making the drought worse. It is scary to smell and see smoke. Ashes are falling into your hands. I pray the fires do not spread to our land. It is sad how many people have lost their homes.

12 Weeks

I am so excited that we are finally pregnant!! It is not real to me. When I start to get a bigger belly and feel the baby kick then it will be. :) Justin and I have been trying for 3 1/2 years now. The saying once you stop worrying about getting pregnany, you will... It is true. I stopped worrying about it. The doctor said I was not ovulating so I just didn't think about it much. Well suprise!!!!! I am so thankful that I am 12 wks 4 days today. Due to my previous misscarriage, I have been so nervous.I have been on pins and needles the past three months. Every new feeling I felt I got scared. Thankgoodness the pains are just the uterus growing prepaing for baby. I heard baby's first heart beat at 8 weeks (160)and heard it again on Tuesday at 12 weeks (175). Doctor says baby is perfect. After my 12 weeks visit, I am starting to feel some relief. We are about to enter the second trimester. So exciting!!! My pants have started to get snug the past three weeks. I can not button one pair. lol.. I bought the belly band and use a hair tie to hold my pants together. I do not want to buy maternity clothes yet. I have a little belly. I am not sure if it is just bloated or a baby bump. Friends and coworkers say baby bump. They say I am poking out a little. I have not had bad morning sickness. I have been very lucky! Just heartburn, constipation, and a little moodiness. Thank you hormones.. Our baby is worth it!

Justin is so excited! He keeps asking , when can we find out the sex.. I keep telling him 20 weeks. Wish sooner. Of course he wants a boy , Justin Laramie Greenville II. Yep thats the boys name. He said he will be happy with either as long as the baby is healthy. I can't wait until we find out the sex so we can start to plan. I know Justin is going to be a wonderful dad. I am so thankful he is able to be home and safe to start a family.
