Last Dr. Apt

Today I am 38 weeks. I went to my last OB apt. He checked me and I am dilated 1cm 70% effaced. Justin weighs 7lbs 11oz. He is going to be a big boy. He will probally be 8pds next week. He is a healthy big boy. I hope everything goes smoothly on Monday. I can not wait to meet baby justin!!

38 weeks

I feel like I am in a dream. I can not explain this feeling. I am sure all moms understand how I am feeling. I can not believe 9 months have gone by. He is going to be 9 months before I know it. That is the scary part. How fast he will grow up. I have no idea what to expext next monday. Emotionally, phyiscally, etc. I am scared about the pain but I usually have a high pain tolerence. I am strong. My saying is if I can make it through Justin being overseas for so long I can make it through anything. This might be the hardest life experience I go through but it will all be worth it. Today I went to the hospital to register. I took a tour of the Labor and delivery unit. I got so nervous. The nurse was very sweet. She explained a lot to me. It is all becoming very real now.

I am very excited to see my family. I am so happy they can share this wonderful life experience with us. I am going to need my family. They will be so much help.

37 weeks

We took our pictures on Sunday. They turned out beautiful! Nat is so talented. I went to the doctor on Tuesday and everything is good to go for the 5th. He was not able to feel the position of Justin's head. I got an ultrasound and he is head down. I have gained 30 pds. Weigh 160. My ankles are starting to swell. Next tuesday I get to have an ultrasound to see Justin. I am very excited. It is so amazing to know I will have a baby in my arms this time next month. I still can't belive it. His heartbeat was 147.

Maternity Photos

Today we took our maternity photos. Justin was not too excited about taking them. Once we started, I think he had a good time. He laughed a lot, he said he felt so silly. That's a guy for you. He was a good sport. We took the pictures on our land which turned out beautiful. I saw some on Natalie's camera and they were great. I can't wait to see more. I am glad I can help Natalie practice and build her client list. She is becoming a very talented photographer. I am excited for her to take Justin's newborn pictures. He will be here very soon. It is crazy!! We are so excited but I can not believe he almost here. His space is getting very tight in my belly. He is hitting my nerves at times. Again I love to feel him move. I wish I could see him on ultrasound one last time. I am very curious to see what he is going to look like. I have a feeling he is going to look just like his dad.

36 weeks

On the countdown... I am experiencing braxton hicks contractions. My stomach gets so tight and uncomfortable at times. No pain.. My doctor says labor is going to be 100 times worse. I am sure. I am starting to have random cramps here and there all over my lower body. My body is preparing for the big day. Everything is ready for Justin. We are just waiting at this point to see his beautiful face. I have gained 4 pounds in a week. Not sure if that is normal or not. It seems like a lot. I am going to the doctor on Tuesday and will check it out. I do not see it. Maybe it is fluid. I weigh 159 now.

35 weeks

Wow. I can't belive how close we are. He will be here very soon. I went to the doctor today and everything is looking good. His heart beat was 143. Iweighed 155. A total of 25 pounds so far. He has become very active. I can tell there is not much room in there for him to move. He loves my left pelvic bone. At times I get a little uncomfortable. Like I can't breathe. I would not change this feeling for anything though. I am getting tired more often. It is hard to get up in the mornings to go to work. Moving a little slower. I am still working out. I bought a tredmill so I try my hardest to walk. I can't walk as fast or long but I am doing it. Overall I am feeling good just a little sluggish. I am not sleeping to well at nights. Between having a stuffy nose, side hurting and 20 pillows in the bed not too much rest. Poor Justin sleeps on the couch often. I love for Justin to rub my belly when Baby Justin is active. Some times I have to rub my belly to have Baby Justin relax a little. I need to take pictures this weekend of my big belly.

I had a shower with Justin's family and our friends two weekends ago. Baby Justin got some wonderful things. We are very lucky to have family and friends who love him so much.

I have everything he needs. I have packed his bag. Now we just wait for his arrival.
